MPS.BR (IMPROVEMENT OF THE BRAZILIAN SOFTWARE PROCESS)

O MPS.BR - IMPROVEMENT OF THE BRAZILIAN SOFTWARE PROCESS was born in December 2003, from a joint project of universities, research groups and companies, under the coordination of SOFTEX (Association for Promotion of the Brazilian Software of Excellency).

MPS.BR is based upon international norms and models with the objective of being applicable to the software industry and recognized worldwide.

The main focus of MPS.BR is on the small and medium enterprises, as it presents a more gradual and less hard approach for reaching software quality, by dividing the levels of maturity in 7 layers.

MPS.BR brings 3 models forward for different applications. CITS provides consulting services to define and implement the most adequate model for a company that wants to improve its internal processes.

As an MPS.BR (II-MPS.BR) Certified Institution by SOFTEX, CITS charter includes not only the definition and implementation, but also the diffusion of the model.
