Overview: We’re looking for a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain software across our stack, with language choice (Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or C++) matched to the domain. This role works on our Contact Center application, handling customer interactions across multiple channels — voice, email, chat, video, collaboration, and AI. The ideal candidate pairs strong technical fundamentals with good judgment about how data is organized and processed, and the collaborative instincts to work well with the rest of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software using the language best suited to the domain (Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or C++)
- Organize and process data efficiently to support application performance and reliability
- Use Git and GitHub for version control, code review, and team collaboration
- Work with SQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) to store and query data
- Apply Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices to plan, build, and ship work incrementally
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and use debuggers and profilers to find and fix issues
- Create and consume RESTful APIs to connect services and systems
- Build with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Spring depending on the project
- Break down complex problems into manageable, well-scoped pieces of work
- Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements:
- Software development experience (1+ year or proved knowledge) with good Java (concurrency, multithreading, performance) knowledge.
- Read, build, and debug native code.
- Docker and containers; comfortable running multi-service systems.
- Linux: shell scripting, service management, troubleshooting.
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/UDP, TLS, sockets, NAT, and packet inspection. Real-time communications / VoIP concepts (media transport and NAT traversal), or a strong ability and appetite to ramp up quickly.
- Test automation and CI/CD pipelines knowledge.
- Solid OO design, clean code, and testing/debugging discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub for code management and collaboration
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices
- Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and using debuggers and profilers
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Spring
- Fluent English.
Additional Skills (Advantageous):
- Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
